Course Overview:
By the end of this course, students will have a strong foundation in 3D printing, from understanding different technologies and materials to operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting an FDM printer. They will learn to analyze and optimize print quality, work with slicer settings, and calibrate prints for strength and efficiency. Through hands-on experience, students will create and modify 3D models using various design tools, implement advanced printing techniques, and troubleshoot common failures. Emphasizing real-world applications, they will design functional parts, complete a full project lifecycle, and develop a problem-solving mindset, fostering continuous learning and innovation in manufacturing and prototyping.
